If I've seemed a little scarce lately, it's because I got a job! Of sorts. I am incredibly fortunate to have a relative in the visual effects industry, who hooked me up with an unpaid internship at his workplace so I could learn some tips and tricks of the trade. I apparently did so well, however, that I've been hired as a freelancer for two of the jobs I'd previously worked on for free! If I get and do well on a third freelance job, that's sort of the 'litmus test' for whether someone is worth hiring as a permanent employee.
